Bonjou! I started to create this homepage on June 18, 2011 as a place for those interested in learning about the language and culture of Haiti. I am not a native speaker but a serious student of the language. I am sure that there are many others as interested as I am in learning as much as possible about Haiti and her people. When I first began studying Haitian Creole, I had a very limited number of sources and suppose that other people are encountering the same frustrations with a lack of information on hand. It is my hope that this homepage will allow you one more source and that you will use it as a stepping stone to continue on to a much more profound undertaking of your Haitian studies.
